During the first trimester it may not be noticeable that you are pregnant, but most women certainly feel it in one form or another. The first trimester includes many bodily changes as your hormone levels change and your body prepares itself for pregnancy. More blood is produced, the uterus expands, and hormone levels are increase rapidly. You may experience some early pregnancy symptoms including feeling bloated, fatigued, nauseous, lightheaded, and uncomfortable. Hormonal changes make trips to the bathroom more frequent. These are all typical responses to pregnancy; however most of these symptoms subside after the first trimester. Many women experience waves of emotions; excitement, nervousness, fear, or all of these.
